Julie graduated with her BSN from D' Youville College in Buffalo, NY, her MS degree from Marshall University, and her MSN degree from West Virginia University. She has worked in acute care in South Williamson, KY and taught nursing at WV Southern Community College in Williamson, WV.
Julie started work in public health in the Division of Local Health. In 1990 she moved to Boone County Health Department. Julie became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and works at the administrative and nursing director for the Boone County Health Department.
Julie is married and has one cat. She has several hobbies to include scrap booking, cross stitch and attending Marshall University football games. |

Kay started her career in nursing as an aid at the Boone County Health Department in 1984. She went to the University of Charleston where she obtained her BSN.
Kay then worked at CAMC General in the Rehab, Med Surg and Behavioral Med units. She then returned to the Boone County Health Department as a staff nurse in home health. While working her she also worked in 2 acute care long term facilities as a supervisor.
Kay now works at the Boone County Health Department in the public health section and loves her job.
She lives in Costa, WV with her husband Bob. She has 4 children and 16 grand-children. She has several hobbies to include walking, reading and horseback riding. |

Diane graduated from Johnston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Abingdon, Va. in 1970. She has 23 years experience in Public Health having worked with the Virginia Department of Health for 11 years and West Virginia for 12 years. Diane was the Public Health Nursing Director for Lee County Health Department for 3 years before moving to Beaver, WV. She was a Year 8 Southeast Public Health Institute Scholar/Graduate.
She is married to a wonderful man, Dale and they have 3 children, Shawn, Jason, and Rachel and 8 terrific grandchildren. Her hobbies include antiquing, scrapbooking and quilting. She is currently employed as the Threat Preparedness/SNS Coordinator at the Fayette County Health Department.

Jennifer graduated from University of Charleston, Summa Cum Laude, and has 8 years of acute care hospital experience, in addition to her 6 years in Public Health. She is currently in attendance at the West Virginia Nursing Leadership Institute as part of the inaugural class.
She is a wife and mother of 2 beautiful little girls, ages 6 and 3.
Hobbies include physical fitness training, gardening, spending time with the family, and threat preparedness (yeah, right!).

Patty completed her BSN at West Liberty State College and has been in Public Health Nursing for approximately 14 years. She is the Nursing Director for the Marshall County Health Department and also is their SNS back-up & Epi Lead for Threat Preparedness. She has also worked as an Infection Control Nurse at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV. Patty is married and enjoys spending time with her 2 grandsons. |

Margaret graduated from Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing. She has been employed at the Harrison-Clarksburg Health Department for twenty-two and a half years of which she has been Nurse Director for eight and a half years. She is currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Health Care Administration. She and husband Steve have two grown children. Quilling (the art of rolling paper), needle crafts, cooking and canning are her hobbies. She is very active in her church and for the past twenty-two years has provided a childrens' story during the morning service.

Karen graduated from Alderson-Broaddus College with her BSN. She is a year 5 Southeast Public Health Institiute Scholar, past Secretary for WVPHA-Nursing Section, and representative to WVPHA, Legislative Committee. She presently serves on the Threat Preparedness Oversight Committee and serve as Member at Large for West Virginia Local Health Association. Her husband John is a Civil Engineer with WV Department of Highways, District 1. They have two sons and two grandsons. |

Jill graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her BSN. She worked at the Monongalia County Health Department from 1975 - 1979 and as been the Nursing Director of the Randolph-Elkins Health Department since 1986.
Jill's Husband Jay is a teacher at Elkins High School and Women's basketball coach at Davis-Elkins College.
Jill's 2 daughters live in the Washington, DC area. Meg teaches math at Washington Irving Middle School and is working on a second masters in guidance and counseling. Besse is employed in sales and marketing for the National Geographic Channel. |

Judy Graduated from West Virginia Institute of Technology with her nursing degree in 1974 and has 26 years of nursing spanning Surgery, Obstetrics, Nursery, Outpatient Surgery, Case Management, Home Health Nursing and she acquired a specialization in high risk obstetrics. She earned her BA and moved into the Masters of Community Health Education program where she graduated from WVU School of Medicine in 1997. Judy started her public health career with the state as the Director of the Division of Perinatal and Women's Health from 2000 - 2003 and moved into the position of Public Health Nurse Coordinator in 2003. Judy is married to singer/songwriter J. Linders McGill III (aka Jack Hollywood). She has 4 step children and one Foster child. She and J are the proud grandparents of 5 beautiful children. |

Sandria graduated from Washington Hospital School of Nursing in Washington PA. She is the Nursing Director at the Grant County Health Department in Petersburg WV. Her husband, Allan,retired as the WV Department of Natural Resources Forest Coordinator.They have two daughters, Jennifer, who graduated from Bridgewater College and James Madison University and teaches High School and college English in Harrisonburg VA. She is married to Kirk Moyers, who teaches high school history.Their younger daughter, Heather, graduated with her Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Math from WVU, and teaches fifth grade math in Petersburg. Heather is married to Charlie Yakubow who is a Child Protective Services worker. Her hobbies include watching movies with family and birdwatching. |

Christine graduated from Shepherd College in 1979 and has worked as an operating room nurse and supervisor, office nurse, home health nurse, paramedical examiner, and Public Health Nurse. Christine has served as treasurer, vice chair and currently, chair of the WVPHA Nursing Section. She has also been the representative of Regions VIII and IX to Liaison Committee for numerous years. Christine is married and is the proud mother of two daughters, Ashley, age 16, and Sydney, age 11, and a son, Clay, age 14. She and her husband are co-owners of a country convience and antique store in Doe Hill, Virginia. Her hobbies include antiquing, restoration of her 1910 Victorian home, gourmet cooking, and raising her three children. |
